Hornchurch coach to Manchester United on Sunday.
On reaching Hornchurch at 1.50am on Monday morning, our mate Gary (Hoppo) Hopkins became very ill and was taken to Queen's Hospital in Romford. He stayed in hospital until Tuesday night when he returned home hopefully to fully recover. We would all like to say "Get well soon mate and you know that we are always around for you".
I would also like to talk about the bravery shown by several other people on our coach. These people were very ill, some with life-threatening illnesses, but they still went to the match. I just wish that our team would show the same courage, bravery and commitment. If you are ill in any shape or form, Dennis and myself would welcome you on board our away coaches. Don't think that you would be on your own. We are 'old school' Westham and we would make sure that you were okay. We look after each other. Bill you are a legend. Going to football was better back then, no matter what people say now about it being safer (sterile).

Hope he has a speedy recovery.

The Hornchurch coach service is very reliable and good value. I am pleased to have started using it for some of the matches.
